The 2026 Joint Council 25 Women’s Committee Scholarship Now Open
The Teamsters Joint Council 25 Women’s Committee is proud to announce that applications are now open for our 2026 Scholarship Program.
Education has long been a pathway to economic opportunity, leadership, and economic justice for working women. Through this scholarship, we continue our commitment to supporting Teamster women as they pursue higher education, professional development, and vocational advancement.
We will award three scholarships to eligible Women’s Committee members who demonstrate dedication to their educational goals and a commitment to growth within the labor movement and their communities.
Essay Requirement
Applicants are required to submit a 500-word essay addressing the following prompt:
“Education has long been a pathway to economic stability.
And advancement for women.
In a 500-word essay, explain how access to education and strong labor protections
Work together to promote economic justice for women.
How will your educational goals help you contribute to the workforce, your community or the labor movement?"
Application Deadline
All applications must be submitted by April 3, 2026.
