Local 162 returned to the bargaining table with Sysco Portland on October 28th.  As a result of that meeting a tentative agreement was reached.  That agreement will be reviewed and voted on at a meeting that is scheduled to take place at the union hall on November 9th.

Following rejection of the contract offer for Sysco Portland Local 162's negotiating committee and Sysco have scheduled a bargaining date for Tuesday, October 28th.  An update will be provided at the conclusion of that bargaining session.  Please continue to report to work as scheduled and perform your job duties as normal until further notice.

It installs the just cause and due process afforded under Union contracts, along with other job improvements that they were not afforded previously.
