The Teamsters Joint Council 25 Women’s Committee is proud to announce the opening of our 2025 Scholarship Program!

This initiative is dedicated to supporting the continuing education and leadership development of Teamster women.

Scholarship Awards:

• First Place: $2,500

• Second Place: $1,500

• Third Place: $1,000

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a member in good standing of the Teamsters Joint Council 25 Women’s Committee with 2024 dues paid.

• Must have attended at least one membership meeting, event, or fundraiser hosted by the Committee.

• Must be enrolled or enrolling in an undergraduate college, graduate school, trade, or vocational program.

How to Apply:

1. Complete the 2025 Scholarship Application form.

2. Submit a typed or handwritten essay (minimum 500 words) on the following topic:

   “Write an essay about a woman, past or present, who has inspired you both professionally and in your everyday life. Share how her achievements, values, or actions have influenced your career aspirations and personal growth.”

3. Submit the completed application and essay through your local union to lisa@teamsters142.org by March 7, 2025.
